Born in Amersham, South Buckinghamshire, England I moved to California in 2016. I have many years in IT, working with comanies such as Compaq (UK) and Deustche Bank, among others. Working in the UK and Germany and well as providing remote support for offices in Tokyo, Sydney and New York.
Proficient in Windows, (having supported and used it since the days of DOS), as well as becoming proficient in using and supporting the office suite. I then started experimenting with fledgling Linux operating System. Starting with manually installing "Red Hat" Linux in the 1990's I then moved on the the openSuse Tumbleweed operating system. A bleeding edge system that has matured into a moderately easy system to install and use.
